It’s Healthy Heart Month
February is healthy heart month, and though it’s almost over the focus on keeping our hearts healthy shouldn’t end with the turn of a calendar page. If you haven’t already, take a look at Dietitians of Canada’s Healthy Eating Guidelines to Prevent Heart Disease. There are many great tips that are easy to implement into your daily habits.
What should you know about turkey? Fresh ground turkey is always extra lean. Fresh, skinless white turkey meat is also extra lean, and fresh dark turkey meat without the skin is lean!
