Season 33 of Great Tastes of Manitoba
Season 33 of Manitoba’s favourite cooking show, Great Tastes of Manitoba, premiers on CTV Winnipeg on Saturday, September 10th at 6:30 pm! Local, Manitoba-raised and grown food will be featured over 14 brand new episodes as recipes that are perfect for any occasion and course. This year, watch episodes with Manitoba Beef Producers, Manitoba Canola Growers Association, Manitoba Chicken, new this year – Manitoba Crop Alliance, Dairy Farmers of Manitoba, Manitoba Pork, Manitoba Pulse & Soybean Growers, and, last, but most certainly not least, Manitoba Turkey Producers.
For 2022, many beautiful and tasty recipes will be shared, but during Manitoba Turkey Producer’s episodes, you won’t want to miss what’s in store. Returning food expert Amanda Bibeau will join host Dez Daniels and share three tasty dishes that are sure to be familiar to the avid traveler during “Going on Vacation with Manitoba Turkey Producers” and later in the season, Amanda brings an even healthy twist to an already lean protein with three turkey recipes on “Light, Lean and Green with Manitoba Turkey Producers.”
To finish off all episodes of the show, each commodity group will be featuring one of their Manitoban farmers. Barclay is a third-generation turkey farmer in the Interlake area of Manitoba. Barclay is not only passionate about raising high-quality turkey on his farm but is also on the Exceldor Cooperative board and shares a little about what it’s like to be part of a cooperative. Larry is also a proud Manitoban turkey farmer who has been farming and a part of the turkey industry on the colony for over 35 years. He not only shares a little bit about what life is like on the colony but also dives into what being a Manitoba Turkey Producer Board Member is like.
